"PERSIANS" - Performed as part of UNCW's INTERNATIONAL WEEK.
"Persians" is based on the overwhelming story of a young woman who escaped
the brutal Islamic Republic regime of Iran and came to America to save her life.
This collaboration between Fereshteh Rostampour, Lighting Designer/Asst. Professor of
Scenic & Lighting Design at UNCW, and Karola Luttringhaus, artistic director/choreographer
of ALBAN ELVED DANCE COMPANY captures personal experiences in an interdisciplinary performance
of stunning imagery, text, sound, movement and dance. The Department of theatre at UNCW is
hosting this exceptional stage performance on Feb. 12 & 13 at 8:00 p.m.

Charlotte Total Theatre is proud to present Artzilla, Festival of the Arts.

this festival will bring together the artistic stylings of many area artists including the
debut of Charlotte Total Theatre. Also performing is the
Alban Elved Dance Company/ KAROLA LUTTRINGHAUS with "Spontaneous Combustion of Nothing" (around 9:25 PM both nights),
Bryan Quann artist installation, original works by former dancers of the Moving Poets; Sarah Emery and
Bridget Marble co-founders of Echo Arts Entertainment, Wonderworld Productions film installation, and
Adam Whiting, singer/songwriter will debut several songs from his upcoming album Civilian.
Artzilla will also include the artwork of Clayton Venhuizen and his three piece alternative eclectic band
the Tyndall Effect, the hip-hop and spoken word of Jhe Russell and company, Charlotte Community Drummers

An evening of dance, movement theatre, music and film. A collaborative project
across the ages and media featuring young voices from Parkland High School and others

“SYMBOLE” is part of alban elved dance company’s fourth annual arts in education
